Timothy Chooi is an internationally acclaimed violinist celebrated for his virtuosity, expressive artistry, and wide-ranging repertoire. His distinctions include First Prize at the Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition and the prestigious Yves Paternot Prize at the Verbier Festival.

Having performed with leading orchestras and in renowned concert halls around the world, Chooi continues to build an international career with major engagements across Europe and North America.

Born in Canada and raised in the United States, he first gained attention as a teenager performing with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. He is currently Professor of Violin at the University of Ottawa.

Alongside her work for screen, she is an accomplished singer-songwriter, both as a member of Mentana and as a solo artist. Her 2023 album Les nuits avancent comme des camions blindés sur les filles earned multiple award nominations.

Following her piano project Les filles montagne, she released Le piano et le torrent in 2025, further establishing her voice in the neoclassical repertoire.

Gairloch is a trio of world-class musicians based in Montreal. Named after a village in Scotland, they perform traditional Scottish music while also incorporating Irish and Quebec repertoire, and original compositions. Formed in 2022, Gairloch is made up of Seán Dagher (Irish bouzouki, voice), David Gossage (flutes, whistles) and Kate Bevan-Baker (fiddle, voice). The trio has been performing together in various formations since 2010, most regularly at Hurley’s Irish Pub in Montreal. In July 2024, Gairloch was the only Canadian artist invited to perform and present workshops at the Willie Clancy Summer School, Ireland’s largest and most celebrated musical gathering.

Founded in 2022, the Oaline Quintet is a wind ensemble made up entirely of students from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. The group explores a diverse repertoire ranging from Franz Danzi to David Maslanka, showcasing the rich tonal possibilities of the wind quintet.

Committed to supporting emerging talent, the ensemble also performs works by student composers from the Conservatory. Since its founding, the Oaline Quintet has distinguished itself through performances of works by composers such as Francis Poulenc, Henri Tomasi, and György Ligeti.

Trüko brings together Gypsy jazz, flamenco, and world music influences in a vibrant and immersive performance.

Led by guitarist Michaël Cotnoir and featuring Mathieu Langlois, Bertil Schulrabe, Gabriel Paquin-Buki, and flamenco singer Alvaro Echanove, the ensemble blends music, song, dance, and percussion into a rich artistic experience.

Inspired by their album Mouvements Nomades, Trüko creates a dynamic musical journey marked by virtuosity, emotion, and the lively exchange between exceptional performers.

Known for his energy and engaging stage presence, he shares his passion for the trumpet with young audiences across Quebec. His show FRED SOLO has achieved major success in both indoor and outdoor venues.

Active on the classical music scene, he has performed with leading Quebec orchestras, including the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Since 2024, he has also served as a musician with the Canadian Armed Forces.

Alongside his performance career, he is a dedicated educator, working as a competition juror and teaching trumpet at Cégep de Sherbrooke and École Pierre-Laporte.

Gairloch is a trio of world-class musicians based in Montreal. Named after a village in Scotland, they perform traditional Scottish music while also incorporating Irish and Quebec repertoire, and original compositions. Formed in 2022, Gairloch is made up of Seán Dagher (Irish bouzouki, voice), David Gossage (flutes, whistles) and Kate Bevan-Baker (fiddle, voice). The trio has been performing together in various formations since 2010, most regularly at Hurley’s Irish Pub in Montreal. In July 2024, Gairloch was the only Canadian artist invited to perform and present workshops at the Willie Clancy Summer School, Ireland’s largest and most celebrated musical gathering.
